I participated in making the UI/UX Designs, from some original wireframes, which we iterated until the senior staff and the client was satisfied.
I also worked as a developer after the UI/UX phase was completed, implementing the solution using node.js + React, all powered by Azure cloud Virtual Machines, and other technologies related to communication protocols.
Main UI/UX Guidelines and Specifications
Original wireframes / schematics mix
After several iterations, we arrived at a feasible design and hid all the complexity of the communication protocols, MS Graph calls, sockets, and many details. Eventually, the low-fidelity wireframes evolved, becoming very detailed designs, easy to replicate with React and CSS Styles.
After passing the functional tests, where the prototype app started to work, we focused on usability testing, tried variants and edge cases, user journeys, personas, UI errors, disconnections, and much more, particularly tunning performance up and avoiding artifacts in the video streams.
Finishing Touches
This project was very challenging, but also really, really fun.
